It doesn’t work like most of the plungers on the market but the action that pushes the shaft back when it is compressed is due to the repulsion of a pair of magnets. Its strength is adjusted changing the distance between the two magnets.
No particular care is needed and you shall not open the button. The only part that can be replaced is the delrin tip. The force of the magnets doesn’t change in time and once the cushion plunger is set it will offer a perfect and consistent reaction to the push of the shaft.
